BOLT Windscreen for Triumph Scrambler 400X with GPS Mount and Number Plate Holder

The BOLT Windscreen for Triumph Scrambler 400X is designed to add a practical front windscreen and integrated accessory mounting options to the Scrambler 400X. Made from Makrolon polycarbonate, the windscreen is supported by CR Steel mounting brackets and features a solid aluminium GPS mount bar.

Available in Clear and Smoked finishes, this windscreen is designed specifically for the Triumph Scrambler 400X. Its dimensions are 306 mm from the centre curvature to the top and 340 mm from the top of the windscreen to the side edges. The design offers an additional windscreen surface while providing mounting provisions for the included GPS mount and number plate holder.

The mounting brackets attach to the headlight brackets on either side of the motorcycle. Their placement prioritises mounting stability, although the manufacturer notes that the brackets may partially obstruct the USB port. An L-shaped charging cable is recommended where clearance is limited.

The number plate holder is designed to mount through the lower holes of the windscreen. The GPS mount and number plate holder are designed for the BOLT windscreen and are not compatible with Royal Enfield or Carbon Racing Wanderer windshields when used separately.

Wind protection and airflow can vary depending on rider height, seating position and riding posture. If the available windscreen height does not provide sufficient coverage, even at its highest adjustment setting, an aftermarket windscreen extender may be considered.

Compatibility

Designed specifically for the Triumph Scrambler 400X. This windscreen does not fit the Triumph Speed 400 or Triumph T4. The included GPS mount and number plate holder are designed for the BOLT windscreen and are not compatible with Royal Enfield or Carbon Racing Wanderer windshields when used separately.

Installation and Maintenance

• Install the mounting brackets at the designated headlight bracket locations on both sides of the motorcycle.
• Fit the windscreen assembly according to the supplied installation instructions.
• Install the number plate holder using the designated lower windscreen holes.
• Check the USB port clearance after fitting the mounting brackets. An L-shaped charging cable is recommended if access is partially obstructed.
• Check that the windscreen, GPS mount and number plate holder are securely attached before riding.
• Clean the polycarbonate windscreen with a suitable, non-abrasive cleaner and a soft cloth.
• Inspect the mounting brackets and fasteners periodically for looseness or damage.
