Make motorcycle accessory installation and control easier with the DENALI CANsmart GEN II Controller for BMW R 1200 and R 1250 motorcycles. Designed to integrate with the BMW CAN bus electrical system, this plug-and-play controller helps manage compatible auxiliary lights, horns, brake lights and other electrical accessories through four independently configurable circuits.

With the BMW WonderWheel or DENALI CANsmart Accessory Manager Software, riders can customise supported lighting and accessory functions to suit their requirements. The GEN II design offers up to 10 amps of continuous power per circuit, with a maximum combined continuous load of 30 amps across the controller.

Auxiliary Lighting Control

Configure compatible auxiliary lights to switch between high and low settings using the factory high-beam switch. Depending on the accessory and configuration, additional features include independent on/off control, dimming, light modulation, flash-to-pass and cancellation of the corresponding auxiliary light when a turn signal is activated.

Brake Light and Safety Functions

The controller supports auxiliary brake-light functions such as deceleration-activated Smart Brake technology and selectable brake-light flash patterns. These features can help increase the visibility of compatible auxiliary brake lights. Actual operation depends on the connected accessories, motorcycle configuration and selected settings.

Horn and Electrical Accessory Integration

Connect supported aftermarket horns and configure compatible auxiliary lights to respond when the horn is activated. The switched accessory circuit can also power compatible devices such as GPS units, phone chargers and heated riding gear, provided their electrical requirements are within the controller's limits.
