The RAM Mounts M10 Threaded Ball Adapter is a modular mounting component designed to connect compatible threaded mounting points to the RAM ball-and-socket mounting system. The larger C Size ball measures 1.5 inches (38.1 mm) and requires a compatible C Size socket arm.

The M10 × 1.25 B Size version is designed for a threaded mounting hole with a 14.5 mm flange diameter and 10.15 mm thread length. The M10 × 1.5 B Size version uses a 14.3 mm flange diameter and 10.5 mm thread length. These dimensions differ, so check the mounting point carefully before selecting a variant.

Depending on the chosen configuration, the adapter can form part of a compatible motorcycle phone or GPS mounting setup, or another mounting application that uses the matching RAM ball-and-socket system. The adapter is a mounting base only; the socket arm, device holder and other components needed to complete a mount are separate unless explicitly included in your purchase.

Compatibility

This adapter must match both the female thread in the mounting point and the ball size required by the rest of the RAM mounting system. M10 × 1.25 and M10 × 1.5 are different thread pitches and are not interchangeable. B Size and C Size balls also require their corresponding socket-arm sizes.

For motorcycle mirror mounting, verify the thread pitch, thread length, flange dimensions and whether the mounting point uses a standard or reverse thread. Motorcycle compatibility cannot be guaranteed from thread diameter alone.
