Description

The Rynox Optimus Tail Bag 50L is a high-capacity motorcycle luggage solution designed for riders planning approximately 4–5 days of touring. Its universal mounting system makes it suitable for a wide range of road bikes, classic motorcycles with flat seats and ADV tourers.

With 50 litres of total cargo volume, the Optimus provides ample space for touring essentials while keeping smaller items organized through a top flap pocket, two side pockets and an internal document pocket. The bag also includes three internal dry bags with 12L, 24L and 12L capacities, providing 48L of dry-bag storage for better organization and wet-weather protection.

The zero-displacement mounting system uses three mounting straps and four YKK SR buckles to keep the luggage securely positioned on the motorcycle. Four compression straps help stabilize the packed load, while top-mounted daisy loops provide additional attachment points for ROK straps, bungees and compatible accessories such as the Rynox Stacker 10L.

Built with 1680D polyester, 900D PU-coated polyester and a heavy-duty rubberised abrasion-resistant base, the Optimus is designed for demanding touring use. YKK zippers and buckles, foam padding and structural piping further support durability and shape retention.

The bag itself is not waterproof, but the included internal dry bags and dedicated rain cover provide wet-weather protection when used correctly.

Important Note

The Optimus 50L Tail Bag is not waterproof by itself. The included dry bags and rain cover should be used when riding in wet conditions.

Always ensure the mounting straps, buckles and loose webbing are properly secured before riding. Do not store the bag while damp or wet.
