Care & Maintenance

Important: Body armour/protectors must always be removed before washing the jacket.

• Clean dirt and stains using a soft-bristled brush and lukewarm water. Do not use hot water.
• Do not expose the jacket to solvents, fuel or cleaning agents.
• Do not use fabric softener, chemicals or alcohol-based products.
• Hand wash using mild detergent for longer fabric life.
• Keep the jacket away from direct heat sources.
• Dry on a hanger in a well-ventilated area away from direct sunlight.
• Clean and lubricate zippers regularly using Vaseline or candle wax.

Storage

• Ensure the jacket is completely dry before storage.
• Remove the armour before storing the jacket.
• Store on a hanger in a dry, well-ventilated area.
• Do not store the jacket while wet, as mildew can cause discoloration and fabric damage.
• Do not store the jacket in airtight plastic bags.

Fit & Sizing

• Measure chest around the widest part while keeping the tape comfortable and parallel to the ground.
• Measure waist around the belly button with the tape parallel to the ground.
• Use a flexible tailor’s tape for accurate measurements.
• Measurements should preferably be taken while wearing base layers rather than bulky clothing.
• If chest and waist measurements fall into different sizes, choose the larger measurement for sizing.
• If measurements fall between two sizes, choose the lower size for a sportier fit or the higher size for a more comfortable fit.
• Always check the brand-specific size chart before selecting the size.

Warranty Coverage

• Covers ViaTerra riding apparel against manufacturing or material defects for 12 months from the date of purchase.
• Subject to the eligibility conditions in the General Terms above.

Warranty Does Not Cover

• Normal wear and tear from regular use.
• Damage caused by accidents, crashes, misuse, abuse, negligence, improper washing, improper storage, alterations, or improper use.
• Fitment, sizing, or comfort-related concerns. Customers are advised to refer to the sizing guide and fitment videos before purchasing.
• Fabric pilling, thinning, stretching, colour fading, or natural ageing of fabrics, coatings, leather, mesh, foam, and other materials.
• Deterioration caused by sweat, body oils, moisture, humidity, UV rays, sunlight, heat, chemicals, detergents, or other environmental conditions.
• Damage to zippers caused by excessive force, dirt, lack of maintenance, or improper handling. Regular cleaning and lubrication are recommended.
• Pilling is caused by contact between hook (hard) Velcro and fabrics.
• Cosmetic changes that do not affect the product's functionality.
• Damage resulting from modifications, alterations, or repairs carried out by unauthorized persons.
• Missing or damaged removable components after delivery due to misuse or improper handling.
• Incidental or consequential damage to persons, property, or other equipment.

Product Care Before Submission

Any product sent for assessment or repair must be clean and free from excessive dirt, mud, or debris, per the Assessment Process section above. Please also remove any personal items from the pockets before shipping.
