The Scrambler 400 Saddlebag Rack is designed specifically for the Triumph Scrambler 400 X and 400 XC, providing a strong and stable mounting structure for compatible saddlebag setups. Its CNC-bent tubing and laser-cut mounting components create a precise, durable structure designed for regular touring and rough-terrain riding.
The rack mounts directly onto the motorcycle's subframe to improve load distribution and stability. Its compact design uses rounded edges to help minimise unnecessary contact with the saddlebag material, while the optimised clearance keeps the luggage safely positioned away from the exhaust and rear tyre.
Constructed from high-grade mild steel, the rack uses thick-walled CRC pipes and laser-cut components for strength and impact resistance. High-strength polymer reinforcement helps absorb vibrations and reduce stress around the mounting points. A premium matte black powder-coated finish provides corrosion resistance for use across different riding conditions.
The rack is designed for straightforward installation and includes the required brackets, fasteners, spacers and washers. Laser-cut slots allow minor mounting alignment adjustments to accommodate welding variations on the motorcycle. The design also maintains pillion usability.
Important: ViaTerra does not recommend using the Downtown or QR (Quick Release) Saddlebags with this Triumph Scrambler 400 rack.

Installation & Maintenance
- The rack is designed for installation using the supplied brackets, fasteners, spacers and washers.
- Ensure Allen keys are fully and correctly inserted into the fastener slots before tightening or loosening.
- Apply force perpendicular to the fastener axis to minimise the possibility of fastener slippage.
- Unbrako fasteners supplied with a black oxidised finish should be coated with a thin layer of oil, especially after washing.
- WD-40 can be used as an alternative to oil to help prevent rust formation on the fasteners.
